St.Michel documents organised political Islam in Europe: its declared doctrine, its organisational structures and funding, its documented harms, and the way armed conflict feeds its recruitment. It exists for the people who need a citable record — dissidents of Muslim background, students, journalists and researchers, elected officials and local administrators, Jewish communities, and women’s-rights and LGBT organisations.
The project is run anonymously. What should earn your trust is not a name but the method: every claim carries a primary source you can open yourself, and everything beyond the documents is marked as analysis.
The name remembers Saint-Michel, Paris — 25 July 1995.
